Solving Problems in Agriculture With Proprietary Vision-Based AI
Craig Ganssle, founder and CEO or Farmwave, noticed an issue in agriculture technology: over-promise, under-deliver. With this in mind, he combined years of experience in technology to develop artificial intelligence to find solutions in agriculture that actually work. This lead to the creation of Harvest Vision: a system using camera sensors to measure harvest loss by taking pictures and counting grain in real-time.

These cameras take pictures every 3 seconds. It replicates the hand count method by simply counting the kernels in the frame.
Report
Farmbook creates a graph for each camera, representing the number of kernels it counts throughout the field and provides values such as average loss per acre, per count, and per day.
